Audi Stanton was employed as a Graphic
Designer for over thirty years, twenty of which were with the State of
California in Sacramento, where her specialty was publication design and
illustration. Her work was used on brochures, posters, books, and merchandise.

From an early age she had a keen interest in making art. Audi studied Fine Arts
and Graphic Design at the famed American Academy of Art in Chicago, Elmhurst
College, Famous Artists' School, the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and
Cosumnes River College. She was lecture assistant to author, painter and color
expert, Merlin Enabnit. She attended and participated in many art workshops
including Carole Barnes and Marilyn Hughey Phillis. She studied with
Sacramento's popular figurative artist, Jerald Silva and artists Patricia Abraham and Arne Westerman. Her work ranges from
realism to abstracted.
In addition to her passionate watercolor paintings and effective use of color,
Audi is especially known for her lively classes in drawing, acrylics and
watercolor at Manley Art Center and at her home in Brookings. She also conducts
workshops in the above media and handmade books, monoprints, and gel medium
transfers.
Being a member of the Artists' Collaborative Gallery in Old Town Sacramento for
17 years, Audi had the opportunity to sell her work to tourists who visited from
all parts of the world. In addition, she has collected many awards along the
way.
She is currently a member of Pelican Bay Arts Association, The Coast Redwood Art
Association, Curry Arts, the Watercolor Society of Oregon, The American
Watercolor Society, The Bay Area Artists' League, and the Coos Bay Museum
Gallery. She is represented by local Brookings galleries, The Harbor Gallery in
Crescent City, the Bisquit Gallery at Gold Beach Books, and Headwaters Gallery in Ashland.
